Wealthcare has promoted its first-ever apprentice and recruited another as the firm continues to expand its team.
Antonia Staples has joined Wealthcare’s administrative support team via the Bury College Apprenticeship Programme.
Antonia, 19, who lives in Bury, is studying for a diploma in business administration.
Meanwhile Wealthcare’s first apprentice, who joined the firm in 2013, has been promoted.
Sarah Monaghan, 25, from Ramsbottom, joined as an office junior under the Bury College scheme and has worked in Wealthcare’s pensions, investments and employee benefits teams.
She has now been promoted to mortgage administrator. Her new role sees her provide administrative support to mortgage advisers, liaise with lenders and clients and process new mortgage applications.
Stephen Cainer, joint managing director at Wealthcare, said: “We are thrilled to once again team up with Bury College to recruit locally through its apprenticeship programme.
“We are keen to nurture local talent and help young people to develop their careers with us, while at the same time bringing new ideas and innovation to the business.
“Sarah made considerable progress during almost three years at Wealthcare, resulting in this well-deserved promotion.”
